After living with a haystack on the top of my head for the past few months…
I finally decided to go for a hair cut, some hair tender-loving-care, and a fresh new coat of hair colour.
I’ve never felt more satisfied, happy and refreshed walking out of the salon.
In fact, I think I might have found my perfect salon here. It may be a little detour from home, but I’m pretty drawn to the place.
It’s called Tuta (i.e. Boston ivy, or a type of Japanese vine) and it’s located in Koenji.

The interior decor is so laidback, creative and cosy. A lot of white, a lot of wood. A lot of soul.
The staff are friendly and I had a lot of fun talking to them. The owner (my stylist) used to work in Kizuki+Lim in Singapore.
